PROJECT OVERVIEW

Salt Lake County Office of Township Services is conducting an engineering study that will identify transportation improvements within Emigration Canyon. This study builds upon work that was recently completed by the Emigration Canyon Roadway Improvement Committee (ECRIC). The study will evaluate existing conditions through the canyon, from Rotary Glen Park to SR-65, and will collaborate with residents, canyon users and the ECRIC to identify solutions to safety and roadway concerns.

WHAT WE'VE HEARD

The documents below outline issues and concerns the public has identified so far.

WHERE WE ARE

The study team collected public input this spring and has been working closely with ECRIC to prioritize the needs identified within the canyon and refine a list of potential solutions. The public will have another opportunity to review and provide input on the team's recommendations at a public open house this fall, currently slated for early September.
